How many panels you need is going to depend on how much power you typically use, what types of appliances you're running and what size your battery bank is. If your trailer already has a solar system, you'll likely be able to mount the panels and plug straight in, since there would already be an inverter present. This hitch will use the bolt holes on the frame of your trailer to mount, allowing you to have the clearance needed for your black tank.
